This 42 acre site was an arable farm which was converted into an equestrian centre in 1995, and features 32 stables, an all weather floodlit arena,
extensive grazing fields, private bridleway, a 300 year old Grade II Listed Essex Barn, a wash room for the horses, a rest room and toilets for owners.
The proprietors live on the site.
Facilities include 32 stables which are a mixture of new modern brick stables and older farm buildings that have been
converted using brick and block or timberwork. The average stable size is approx. 12’ x 12’
Tack rooms are either shared or individual, and some are incorporated within the stable.
A large wash room is available for hosing down, washing etc.
A 50m x 30m floodlit all weather manege with show jumps available on site.
All year turnout in paddocks and fields spread over the 42 acre site, all of which have post and rail fencing, and automatic drinking troughs. All fields are treated annually for weeds, and are regularly mechanically swept, harrowed, rotated and rested. Grass livery fields have field shelters.
We have a 5metre wide track around the perimeter of the fields which creates a 2 mile long bridleway for safe off-road riding entirely on our property, and incorporates a few optional cross-country jumps. A short distance on a back road from the rear of our site gives access to Hornchurch Country Park, and miles of safe riding.
Hay, straw and chippings can be bought on the site at competitive prices.
A large car park provides ample parking behind the electrically operated security entrance gates. Lorries and trailers are stored in separate areas behind the Barn, which have good access and turning space.
Our rest room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, micro-wave and fridge. Clean toilet facilities are adjacent.
The yard is monitored by CCTV Cameras with digital recording 24/7, and an External Perimeter Intruder Alarm System.
