On site facilities

This 42 acre site was an arable farm which was converted into an equestrian centre in 1995, and features two sand/fibre floodlit maneges, extensive grazing fields, private bridleway, a 300 year old Grade II Listed Essex Barn, a wash room for the horses, a rest room with toilet for owners which is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, micro-wave and fridge.

Facilities include 38 stables which are a mixture of new modern brick stables and older farm buildings that have been converted using brick, block or timberwork. The average stable size is approximately 12ft x 12ft.
Tack rooms are either shared or individual and some are incorporated within the stable. A large wash room is available for hosing down, washing etc.

Our 50m x 30m sand/fibre manege and a newer 40m x 20m sand/fibre manege are both floodlit.

There is all year turnout in paddocks and fields spread over the 42 acre site, all of which have post and rail fencing, and automatic drinking troughs. All fields are treated annually for weeds, and are regularly mechanically swept, harrowed, rotated and rested. Grass livery fields have field shelters.

We have a 5 metre wide track around the perimeter of the fields which creates a 2 mile long bridleway for safe off-road riding entirely on our property. A short distance on a back road from the rear of our site gives access to Hornchurch Country Park and Bonnetts wood with miles of safe riding. (see video on our Gallery page)

Hay, straw and chippings can be bought on the site at competitive prices.

A large car park provides ample parking behind the electrically operated security entrance gates. Lorries and trailers are stored in separate areas behind the barn which have good access and turning space.

The yard is monitored by CCTV Cameras with digital recording 24/7, and an External Perimeter Intruder Alarm System.

The proprietors live on the site.
